What GEO/AEO is

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) are the natural evolution of SEO for a world where the search engine no longer returns a list of links, but a written answer. Traditional SEO competes for a click in a list; AEO competes to be the answer. Different games, different rules.

In GEO/AEO, showing up is not enough — you have to be cited. The model decides who to mention based on the authority, clarity and consistency of the information it finds about your business across the web. It does not reward whoever repeats the most keywords. It rewards the business that best explains what it does, who it does it for and why it can be trusted.

How they read you

AI models do not read your website the way a person does. If that information is confusing, incomplete or contradicted by other sources, the model loses confidence and recommends someone else.

That is where structured data comes in. We mark up your site with Schema.org — business type, services, location, reviews, frequently asked questions — so the machine does not have to guess anything: we serve it up in its own language. A site that explains itself with structured data is a site AI understands immediately and cites with confidence.

And it does not stop at your domain. Models cross-check what you say about yourself against what everyone else says: your Google Business Profile, directories, press, reviews, mentions on other websites. When that whole trail is consistent and points in the same direction, the model concludes that you are a solid, reliable entity. When there is noise or contradiction, it penalizes you without warning.
